Welcome to Maze Videography. I’m Mason Tompkins, passionate about capturing the raw energy and emotion of live music. I specialise in concert photography and live-focused music videos that immerse audiences in the moment, combining dynamic visuals with cinematic storytelling. My work is centred around showcasing artists in their element: on stage, in motion, and fully connected to the crowd. From intimate venues to packed-out rooms, I focus on visuals that introduce artists through their live presence and capture what it actually feels like to be there.

Who I've worked with
I’ve worked as a videographer and photographer for The Underworld in Camden, London, capturing live shows in one of the UK’s most iconic grassroots venues.
Over the years, I’ve worked closely with musicians, artists, and creative teams to bring their ideas to life through visual content. In my ongoing work with Gaetan Buisson and Daisy Rutter, I direct, produce, and edit music videos that translate each artist’s sound into dynamic visuals. I’ve also created Spotify Canvas visuals that reflect artist identity and drive engagement.
My work spans from intimate live sets to larger stages, consistently focusing on capturing real energy and artist presence. I’ve also directed and edited for ALTROVE and ROSIN, including live concert shoots and a documentary centred around emerging artists, balancing cinematic storytelling with authentic performance.
At Imiter La Perfection, I produced studio photography and video projects, filming and editing interviews and product content under tight deadlines while keeping everything aligned with the brand’s vision.
